We prescribe a progressive program designed specifically for our members, to achieve unrivalled results. The CrossFit methodology unites all ages, abilities, and goals, from beginner to advanced. CrossFit has three main components: Weightlifting, Gymnastics, & Metabolic Conditioning. What is fitness? Cardiovascular endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy. CrossFit develops ALL these abilities in one program.   

Located at our Al Quoz branch, CrossFit FNG empowers women to push themselves to make the impossible, possible.

Gymnastics
Gymnastics has substantial psychological benefits due to increased cognitive function, motor skills and concentration - which is very important especially as we now live in a world full of distractions!  

Physically, we improve our flexibility, co-ordination, balance, and strength. What to expect? We cover the basics such as core strengthening drills, building volume in your push-ups, mastering your first pull up, to more advanced skills like handstands, toes to bar and ring support holds.

Weightlifting
Weightlifting produces many physical benefits such as increased bone density, muscle mass, joint stability, and reduced risk of injury. Specifically, we demonstrate functional movements (squat, deadlift, bench press), which we use within our everyday lives. E.g., to get on/off a toilet we execute the air squat.  

Aside from reaping the rewards of weightlifting to become stronger and better at handling life’s challenges, we also cover Olympic Weightlifting, which is a sport within itself.  Olympic lifting isn’t just about strength, we focus on also developing our speed and power output.
Metabolic Conditioning
Metabolic Conditioning refers to exercises used to increase the storage and release of energy by the body. To do this, we target our three energy systems - phosphagen, glycolytic and oxidative.  At CrossFit FNG, we focus on high efforts produced in short-time domains, as well as lower efforts in long-time domains. A simple example; how fast can you run 100m vs running for 10k. Don’t worry, we won’t be actually doing this in class!

Overall, this is where we gain improved stamina and cardiovascular endurance. Above all, it’s hard to get bored in a CrossFit FNG class.
